Making Candle Types

This course is designed to teach participants the basics of candle making, focusing on various types such as pillar, container, tea light, and molded candles. The course covers the different types of wax (e.g., soy, beeswax, paraffin), wicks, and essential oils for scenting. Participants will learn about the chemistry of wax melting points, proper wick sizing, and how to safely incorporate natural dyes and fragrances. Additionally, the course emphasizes eco-friendly practices, showing how to make sustainable and non-toxic candles for personal use or small-scale production. By the end of the program, participants will be able to craft a range of candle types using natural, sustainable materials.
